Jamie Bennett (businessman)
Jamie Bennett (born c. 1971) is an entrepreneur from Aberdeen, Scotland.
In 1995 Bennett founded Atlas Interactive Limited, an international oil and gas technology business. The company created online learning programmes specifically for the oil and gas industry (350,000 courses/users each year) including a safety diagnostic e-learning programme known as Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST). Bennett sold Atlas Interactive to private equity company HgCapital in 2007 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Atlas Interactive )〕
and left the business in 2009 〔(【引用サイトリンク】work=The Press and Journal )〕 establishing Enerco Group (UK) Ltd, an entrepreneurial investment company focused on oil and gas technology businesses. Enerco Group from 2010 onwards has created and invested in a number of oil and gas related companies including Operational Excellence (OPEX) Group Ltd, Mintra Training Portal Ltd and Mintra Training Portal A.S.
